Master ROI list on green appliances/renovating
This is a great list of ROIs on a whole bunch of green renovations. They've got just about everything on the list including; insulating ducts, on demand water heaters, planting trees for shade, solar hot water, dual flush toilets and lots more. I'm sure a lot of it is generalized and probably not calculated based on DIY prices (which always saves a fair amount of money). But, its a nice baseline to look at if you are looking at trying to save money.

Wow! This is more or less what I had in mind when I proposed making a list of saving tips.
