priming the loops

i got my heatpump FHP 2 ton with ECM blower






and some solar goodies outback vfx3648 3600 watts 48V grid tied battery backup inverter, outback fm80 80A charge controller, and midnight solar's combiner box. got this as a bonus from my boss.

im going to run 4kw dc to it


i drew up some plans for doing a ground mount

while priming my loops the temp gauge remained at 72*F

i built ducting out of 3/4'' foam board, i just have to finish a 15' run in the attic

i ordered some more parts for my priming setup. what im going to do is hook everything up minus the loop pump and use a ball valve to choke down the priming pump output to 8 gallons a minuet and check the pressure at the pump output from there i can perfectly size the circulator pump needed

yes lots of work im also doing solar hot water after i finish these to projects after all that stuff i should have no power bill

i finished all the ducting this is the attic portion













i allmost have all the fittings i need to check the head pressure

thank you i got antsy and decided to test run my unit with the priming pump, i got great results. i wired the loop pump into the compressor relay.
thermostat i stole off my wall







this is the pressure with the pump at full blast


heating mode temp return from loopfeild


heating mode temp to loopfeild


cooling temp return from loopfeild


cooling temp to loopfeild


i just need to devise a scheme to measure the gpm and then check the pressure so i can get a proper pump
