![]() ![]() How are the sweat nipples attached to the HX? How much protection (from heat) would be needed for the HX while brazing on copper lines? |

![]() I should have known. I had not bothered to look, because I had it in my mind that you had used a HX with screw-on connectors.
(Plus it's a massive thread)! I will get to that when I have an hour or three to spend reading.. ![]() PS: I'm currently looking around for a good high pressure HX with flare fittings.. ![]() Edit: Thanks for the Very interesting read (and video).. I'm saving the link here, so I won't have to search again. http://ecorenovator.org/forum/geothe...html#post12230 Last edited by Xringer; 09-24-11 at 09:53 PM.. Reason: Brazing Movie call |

![]() Humm, wasn't that Al Gore??
![]() I hope someone sees that sensor and buys one or two, so we can have a review.. ![]() It seems like every time I start looking at my Watch List on Ebay, my wife walks in! She gives me that look, tells me that we don't need anything else.. ![]() |

![]() I'm just curious about these sensors right now, since someday there is a chance
that we might be using propane as a refrigerant. At the current time, I'm going to stick to using the slightly expensive R410A stuff. 410 R410 R410A R 410A REFRIGERANT TANK 1/4 SAE OUTLET | eBay For 2 cans, it seems to be about $24.44 a pound.. Or, R410a, R410, R-410 Refrigerant 11.2lb #15 | eBay For one tank, this seems to be about $11.52 a pound.. Hey! That's a very large difference.. Did do my math right? ![]() |
