Hi all,
I am solar-projects fan. Proud to say that I am already using pop can solar air heater already mounted on my house... I have started couple more wind small-turbine project, and this forum seems like a great source for new ideas. I would like to share some.. regards, (Support EcoRenovator.org & get rid of these annoying ads!)

Welcome to the site.
Do you have any pictures and/or info you care to share about your solar pop can collector?

Looks good. If you made it the entire length of the balcony I don't know if anyone would even notice it.
Any idea how much it's helping with the heating bill? |

It is little hard to compare bills, but I know that my original central heating (electrical) is OFF during 4-6 sunny hours per day, even outdoor temp is just few degrees above zero Celsius (38F),or below, because collector blows hot air :-)
since it cost me around $200, it will pay itself in just one year or so... You are right about longer collector would be better and more pretty, but I had to make it in one piece and polycarbonate sheet was with fixed dimensions... regards,
