Use sink water to flush the toilet

I found this the other day. Seems like an interesting idea. Not sure how much water it really would save to be honest. Do you use your sink enough to fill your toilet all the time? I don't think I do. But, its an idea... It looks like it costs ~$300.

Since there's already a pump and controls, elaborate on the controls to change the water level depending on the weight on the seat.

My toilet is a duel flush that they say is not compatible with this device.
I am tempted however to install a duel check valve back flow preventer, it's what is required on each house anyway to keep the water in your own pipes from flowing back in to the water mains, so they are available and meet code.
When I remodel my bath room I'll have to install a supply line from the toilet to the sink, as right now you face the sink while on the stool.

Another Idea would be to place a dehumidifier inside your bathroom and pipe it into your toilet bowl tank. That would definately generate enough water to keep your water bill down and make for a more comfortable living space.

I recently discovered that my a/c unit disposes of nearly a gallon of water an hour or more. I also live in florida where my tiles get slimy its so humid.
