Keep in mind level 2 has less loses than level 1 charging.

We make a lot of solar power each month. Even with gas being cheap we still save more money on EV miles each month the elect savings. I agree EV and PV work so well together.

Sadly , someone in a Dodge pickup truck rear ended my Wife and the Leaf , yesterday PM .

Thank God , no serious injuries . :-)

Do not know , yet is the car will be totaled , or not . If it is totaled , will have to think about next step .

God bless

Looking at all the damage, it seems like that pickup was going pretty fast..
Was the Leaf stopped when hit?

She was stationary , behind a line / row of cars that were stationary . At a traffic lite .

She said she thought he was going pretty fast ( 30 - 35 mph speed limit ) . Also , she thought he acted like he was impaired in some way .

God bless

Default Electric bill - Good news but puzzled ?

Got an email with the electric bill for August 2016

657 kWh for $72.97 . ( 34 days )

September 2015

2797 kWh for $ 285.37 . ( 28 days )

This raises way more questions than it answers ?

Both months should reflect " normal " summer time home consumption + charging the 2012 Nissan Leaf .

Granted , this past month was cooler & should reflect less A/C usage .

God bless
Wyr
