Default Simple solar space heater

Got a bunch of aluminum cans, a few 2x4s and some time? Well, thats almost all you need to make yourself a nice little garage heater. Take a look at this guys solar furnace. Its not the best design, but I'm sure it works.

Hemmings Auto Blogs Blog Archive almost free garage heat - just drink a lot of soda

I'll eventually be doing something similar to my garage in the future. I'm thinking more of a solar wall though like this. Its so simple, cheap, and really quite effective!

I've been to the link and I have a question. I must be missing a trick, but the input air temp in the pic is 80F. Is that the summer or winter where he is? I presumed he was building it in winter with the leaves on the ground etc.
