Hey everyone!

Well after eating microwave noodles and living with my parents for almost a year straight (not to mention getting rid of my car back in June), I finally raised enough for the down-payment to buy a home in my city and signed my life away just a few days ago. I move into my first home (a row-house condo near the university) on March 7th and discover what home-ownership is all about.

Anyways, as with my previous cars, I plan to make my home energy efficient and save money. Hope to learn lots from everyone else here

Hope everything works out well. Do you get any type of yard with it being a row-house condo or is it basically a shared environment?

There's unfortunately no yard. Only a common green space that the home is facing. At the same time it should keep heating costs down because I only have one exterior wall.
