A Update

I have had the kill-a-watt meter on the fridge for 2152 hrs and the usage reads 82.47 kwh with a yearly cost of 33.95 @ $0.102 a kwh.

I turned the fridge temperature up to the 1/2 way point , its been used as normal in those hours. The fridge is a 2007 non Energy Star model but being insulated & using the inner door seal nets a yearly usage of 335.7 kWh.

As opposed to the 2014 energy star fridges rated at about 400kwh a year

Care to document any of this with pictures or whatever? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Xringer should be an example to us all. His claims are infinitesimal compared to the above, yet even then he completely documents it. I give him a lot of credit in regard to this fact. He always shows his failures. If he ever came up with an extraordinary result and was as consistent in his documentation of it as he always is, then I'd be very inclined to believe it.

You? Well, not so much.

I can document the kill-a-watt meters numbers ? complete with accurate count down from my last extraordinary claim ( A compliment from you at last ,Thanks ! )

Will that persuade you of my integrity or honesty ?

Or this going to be one of those times when I can never meet your ever changing requirements , You know what I mean ? that game.

I documented / document everything

Your a Nut , I never documented anything - Ya o.k , you run along now.

You're quite the person to be calling me a nut especially with your well publicized belief that the CO2 increased content of our atmosphere has not been caused by man. Or else your belief that the increase will not dramatically effect temperatures on Earth separate from the natural cycles. I'm not sure which or both of those two statements you agree or don't agree with. You're definitely the outlier and not me on that subject. That's a whole different subject though.

The real reason I don't believe you is that when you said ice in the refrigerator was increasing the efficiency of it no one, including me, could convince you otherwise. And you claimed to have factual evidence then just like you are now. I don't see much difference from that time unless you produce more concrete evidence. It's the kid crying "wolf" once too often. It may be true and you're onto something but you've destroyed your credibility...

Agreed

I have 'just' taken these next 4 photos , they are mostly self explanatory, The fridge will stay on the meter until Something important comes along to test.

In the first photo the fridge is running on 120w.
90.85 is the kWh consumed
2331 hours it has been monitored (or 97 days)
$33.95 is the yearly cost @ 0.102 a kWh

I will check the fridges temperatures again, I increased the temp since my last tests for a increased enjoyment of beverages, Soya milk etc.
