That could defintely work, but ducting it to the furnace at least in my case would be a chore as my furnace is in the basement.

Default I've looked and looked for a good place

to install a down-vent from the attic.. There really isn't any easy way to do it.

So, I'm going to compromise and pump warm attic air into my back hall..
It's a small area at the top of the basement stairs.
The warm air will come down into the stair well and be sucked into the basement,
by the other 200 cf radon blower (see pics in above post).
Whose input very close to the floor (cold air output).

I ordered another 200 cf radon blower.. Steel this time.

4" inch 200 CFM Inline Fan Duct Booster Exhaust Vent Blower Hydroponic Radon M 4 | eBay
And I plan to use dryer vent hose and hardware for the install.
This kit Shop Lambro 4-in x 8-ft Quick Connect Vent Kit at Lowes.com
looks like a good candidate.

The fan will install in the middle break point.

I now have a sensor in the attic! I can use it to control the new fan (using X10).

One big problem is the back door! It's super lossy..
http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...pscabef37c.jpg
So, the plan is to deliver the heat, and see just how much the backdoor eats..
If it's bad, I'll have to roll out some layers of bubble wrap between the door and the storm door..

I'm posting it today at http://ecorenovator.org/forum/solar-...-basement.html
So I won't spam up your thread..

PS:
Yesterday I did the old Box fan upstairs at pull-down stairs thing.. Thanks for the idea..
I controlled the fan with X10 and it seemed like I got about 1deg F of heat
down to the basement air..

Of course, with the pulldown beging half open, the warm air was free
to float back upwards into the attic..

Once I get the new attic WAP (warm air pump) installed, there won't
be anyplace for the warm air to float up to..
So, maybe I'll move some good BTUs downstairs!

Glad to see you working on this. I think it should work. Sometimes you have to do a little finesseing to make it work. I've found that on what I'm doing too.

Yeah, it's about time I got around to doing something about the basement.

If it fails to warm up the basement, but doesn't make it any colder, I'll be happy.
I want the air flow, to carry out the dampness and any radon..

Right now, I'm getting that job done with one 200 CFM Blower using 3" PVC tubes.

I'm not sure, but I think the M4 200 CFM blower using 4" tubes up in the attic,
will put a very slight positive pressure in the basement and a small gain in air flow.

Any positive pressure in the basement, might lessen radon gas flow,
and give it time to decay (generating bad byproducts) while it's still down in the soil.

It seems logical that pulling warm air down from that attic peak (currently at 92.9F)
will provide some heat to the basement.

Default Heat recovery

Yes i have its been working for a couple of years now. I have the photos uploaded into this forums albums but i cant load into this link yet.

Here is some more info about the project , the controller is a Highway differential controller with a onboard thermistor and a remote thermistor on light speaker cable about 4 metres away. Its in the apex of the roof for efficiency , the filterd inlet is somewhat , i put a gooseneck in the insulated ducting (100mm 4 inch) so there should and i have checked no reverse thermosyphoning. The motor is 240V and uses 60Watts.The Filter , and fan helps or adds to that also in a small way. There is only a 1 C differential setting on the controller. The roof is Metal and has a 33 ' fall/pitch . Its most efficient in the Autumn and Spring and occasionally on sunny Still winter days. So it maybe 19C to 24C-34C ,66F to 75F-93F. This is typical spring autumnal equinoxes temperatures. 1st number is room temp and the other 2 attic temperatures.
Also it does push fresh air inside as half the solution and really works .

Looks like a nice setup Solar1! We would love to hear more about it. You should be able to post image links now too.
