ontario made some changes wanting to get away from non renewables and now pays the producer something like 45 cents/kwh for solar generated electricity.
I think they wanted to encourage home production at that rate but giant panel farms become good investments at that level.

Here is a vid of a solar farm that is currently the world largest solar farm. It is one country block from where I work. I happen to know one of the three employees that work there, and he said that any broken panels are sent back (to California?) and re-used/reconstituted.

I hope my town isn't using the OptiSolar install system. Those big ballast blocks would
sink right into the ground after a few rain storms..
(The city has decided to go solar, on an old land-fill)!

The ground in the video looked a little mushy, I would how much those blocks
will sink up there, in Sarnia?
I guess if they sink at the same rate, it wouldn't hurt the angle..
