What does the Takagi cost where you are?

Thats a good price. It is a few hundred more here. Then the real advantage would be time to get the hot water to the tap. The tank will win there.

The other issue could be the Takagi ability to take preheated solar water. Some do it better than others, long term.

I don't know but there is now a 10% currency issue for us. We used to be 1:1. Not any more. Shipping and duties are an issue as well.
