Default Upcoming 10 kw solar project

Have finally decided to finish with the solar projects . Getting ready to wake the sleeping 10kw giant in my shop. Thinking what would be better for me right now . Buy more pannels . Or add batteries as a backup. I Still dont really understand my net meter thing . No one really dumbed it down enough for me .. What do you guys think. Do you think it is better to add more pannels and throw it all at the grid . Or purchase batteries and add a backup .

What do you guys say would be best for my situation . 10 kw should be fine for covering most of my bill as i use around 15kw daily.

This will help me decide on weather to get the micros like i had wanted or go with string or power optomisers
Heres the link for the solar i cant understand. See if anyone can dumb it down. Having the same problem with the patenting system right now
