The spray foam is only going to be as good as the covering that goes over it because spray foam brakes down in sun light so it needs to have a light proof and water proof coating over top and that is where it can get expensive.

I lived in a flat roofed apartment in phoenix. The owner had one of these roofs put on. It went on quick. I could not believe the reduction in my utility bills, it was quite noticeable.

the roofing company around here only does it on commercial buildings. that system is war smarter as it never lets the roof get hot in the first place and really strengthens the roof.
they also have a silicone layer they can put on and he said another one but i forgot
