Default BMW i3: first 20000 km without problems

So, I drove the first 20000 km with my BMW i3 without any problem!
I used 3547 solar kWh (real external measurement ) and 11 litres of gasoline for the Rex.
And I never used any public charging station.
For more details, see: Auto - geen energierekening meer: energieneutraal woonhuis fam. Kriegsman Ootmarsum
It's in Dutch, but Google Translate might help.

It's not just solar for the car.....
My energy bill for the whole house (electricity + heating + EV) is zero!

Yes that is great. I still think I is an amazing time we live in to be able to do this.

We are doing the same thing we have 40,408 EV miles (64,373.8 km) on our 2013 Chevy Volt all solar powered.
Our house is covered by the solar also heating and cooling… last year we generated 19.54 MW Solar power.

I love seeing someone else doing this. I really hope this catches on the world would be a better place to breath and live in.

How do you like the i3?

Wow, i very much like that. It comes out to 5% of my fuel costs and that is only for my VW Vanagon (T3)

I cannot wait to get my big truck on the road with the in wheel electric motors but I'm still sorting out the TDI engine.
