I asked my wife if she could feel the how warm it was she said not really. It was 76 deg in the room too hot for me.

The LG remotes are strange they seem to only go up 2 deg at a time strange.

My Gree MS will go up one deg at a time. I really like that better.

Same with the Sanyos.. I switched it to C mode and it does 1 deg C..
Made a little chart to tape on it..
Each step of 1 deg C is equal to about 1.8 deg F.. So, I think the F reading displayed is really an approximation..

My main remote is mounted sideways on the hallway wall..

A thin fishing line connects the remote to the topside arm of the mount using a loop..
Just in case.. I don't want my remote crashing to the floor..

Anyways, considering the origins of these units, they are likely using C internally.
It's their native mode (IMHO), so using C will give me a more realistic idea of what the temp really is.
(When converted to F)..

My remote goes up or down , 2 degrees at a time , also .

Thanks I was concerned when I did not here the Freon being released but it worked out in the end.
My wife will be using these in the day time so I hope she likes them. After a week or two I will review the LG and Gree to compare the two units.

I saw the Gree brand advertized when I was internet shopping . I seem to remember them being in the lower price range ?

LG in the middle or a little above ?

Mitsubishi and the other Japanese brands at the top of the price range ?

I bought a 13 SEER unit in the bottom of the price range . It was essentially a close out unit at one of our distributors .

So far , mo complaints about its performance .

Actually , it seems to short cycle on HP , but I suspect that is largely due to a less than optimal location , in a corner over the exterior door ( only exterior wall space available ) .

I do not think the warm air is getting far enough from the temp sensor in the indoor unit . I suspect it is sensing its own heat ?

Seems to work better with the internal fan set on high ? Even better if I turn on the ceiling paddle fan , in reverse , around low - med speed . To help distribute / move the warm air from the HP .

I put fresh oil in my vacuum pump and did the first side it took a long time but it got a good long low vacuum. I changed the hot oil and did the same on the second side. This side pulled a good vacuum much faster and it got to 200 microns pretty fast. Does it make a difference with the vacuum pump if it is hot when you change the oil?

Here is the outdoor unit and the line sets going up the house.

The LG unit has only two places for a flexible conduit to attach. It would have been nice to have three places. You have the 240v in and both indoor units need wires coming into it. I combined the two indoor units into one conduit.

Exactly what I would have done . Put both indoor cables in the same piece of Liquid-Tite flex .

Tonight will be a good test for the MS systems it is 42 out now. It is going to get down to 24-32 tonight.
I know the guys in the north thing that is not cold but it is pretty cold.
