Higgy has point there, but...
I have found it hard to go cross-country skiing before work during the summer

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'm thinking it will make millions as a best seller. I've copy written it so you can't steal it.

Bah to skiing. Bah I say!

May I bring to mind that in your area winter is indicated by your calendar and perhaps a certain feeling of briskness.

If you want some snow you could contact my in-laws who live in Michigan. This morning they had -28C (-19F) and if they send you 2 feet of snow they have over 3 feet left for themselves. Not sure about package and posting though : -)

It can be a surprise to some folks, but Santa Fe is at 7000 feet (2100+ meters) elevation in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We actually get winter here.

The logistics of shipping snow is usually an issue.

Says the person who lives in New Mexico. :P

If you want more snow, you can take the freezing cold we get along with it. That's the tradeoff.

I'll take the Canadian cold only if I can get single-payer healthcare too!
