Default 320/340w solar panels at .60/w c$

Hi Guys,

i got a deal on solar panels. If anyone is interested I can offer .60/w on B grade (cosmetic blemish) Silfab (18% efficient). 320s or 340s. I'm not sure which is coming in yet. Warranty is still in place. Most of the blemishes do not affect anything. And may be invisible to the naked eye.

That's for 1 to 9 panels.

If you want more the price is less. PM me or go to my website bobolinksolar.com

I got this deal as part of building my girlfriends solar system. Just kind of fell into it actually. So I'm treating it like we're a "club". So the club gets together and we buy jointly to get a better price.

If I get a lot of folks interested the price will come down.

A grade panels are also available.

Lemme know.

And yes. that's the price in Canadian dollars. I know. Like .45 US.

And the catch. Pick up is in Perth, Ontario. I can ship. But you have to pay for that. Worth it if you need say, 10kw or more for sure.

Just saw a typo on your site:

LITHIUM SOLAR STORAGE, >$300 KWH

I believe you meant "less than".

I saw that the other day and totally forgot to fix it. (that's my story)

So thanks!

Btw. I can probably ship to the US if anyone is interested. Knock .20 off the price if paid in US dollars. And bulk prices are lower.

Amazing what you can fall into looking for deals for your girlfriends studio solar system.

Well this goes to show the perils of small business and the solar industry.

Yesterday I took orders for 20 panels and had enquiries on 10 more.

Today I received a message from my supplier that they were no longer planning on shipping to small businesses.

My order for 118 panels is suspended.

Ouch.

How do I delete this thead? Or should we leave it to highlight the vagaries of the solar industry?

No longer planning to ship to small businesses? Aren't nearly all solar installers small businesses? I'd imagine homeowner installs and other small one off situations are even more hassle for them, so who are they actually shipping to? I imagine solar distribution warehouses that sell directly to solar installation companies generally don't buy and sell blems.

Will they let you get full pallets? That is what I have found in the past.
They don’t want to repack it is to easy to damage them

They want a full transport truck. 832 panels. Something less than $100k.

So I was fortunate. I found an alternate source. But goodbye B grade. Hello A grade. And .15-.20/w increase.

Such is life. This guy fills his orders and even ships partials. Meh. Say hello to my little Hanwha friend.

What a crazy story. I'm about to order my first pile of solar panels when Silfab calls. In the end I do end up getting some stuff from Silfab. The price was higher. The access more limited. But I've helped folks deply 20kw of solar. And had a jolly good time with it.

Huzzah.
