Default Conservation of trees, use 100% plastic decking (Cellular PVC)

Veranda 1 in. x 5-1/2 in. x 16 ft. Cellular PVC Deck Acorn-K250MAC16 at The Home Depot

It's $2.50 a foot now, so I'm removing all the old cedar and will replace it with
plastic lumber when it comes in from Home Depot this week.

I've removed the cedar on both catwalks and was amazed at how deteriorated it has become since the late 1980s.

I found a tool for removing old deck planks.

Still have the main deck 12x24 (288 sq ft) to strip..

Not sure why these things have to be done during the hottest days of the summer..?.
But, July might be better than August.. When I built this, it was during a very hot August..
