Solar plan if a candidate gets elected.

This is the first time I have seen candidate running for president talk this way about solar.

I don’t want talk about voting or who is going to win or should win. (I don't care what party anyone is for or against.)

I would like to see all the other candidates get the solar bug.
Here is her quote.

"Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton tells a crowd in Iowa that she will work toward installing 500 million solar panels across the U.S. in her first term if she is elected president. She then added a 10 year goal of producing enough renewable energy to power every single American home."

Sunny Nevada is killing the solar industry in the state with new net-metering rules : TreeHugger

I wonder if this is going to be going around to other states?
