Default Nordex coming to MY town!

Nordex, a German wind turbine company, announced plans to build a facility in Jonesboro Arkansas. Heres a to link the announcement on their site. http://www.nordex-online.com/index.php?id=53&L=2&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=526&tx_ttnews[backPid]=45&cHash=4655cecd83

Yes, I'm applying. I'm hoping my degree (Computer Aided Drafting and Design) and all the management classes I've been taking will give me a competitive edge. Heck, I'd be happy with a job on the floor, putting these things together.

cool quotes from the above link:

Quote:
Nordex’s Jonesboro operation will be an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) that will comprise every component of a wind turbine except the tower, including the manufacturing of rotor blades and the assembly of nacelles. The facility will have a target annual assembly capacity of approximately 750 megawatts

Nordex will focus in Jonesboro on its large-scale turbine family N90 and N100 (2.5 MW), which is one of the largest series in the world.

Very cool! I've seen the parts on semis at truck stops. They are quite impressive. Working on them would be awesome.
