Nice looking parts, are you using ABS?

Yeah, I haven't even tried PLA yet. Most of those applications need to hold up to some heat.

Ah yes, I almost forgot another one I've worked on a bunch. I've been making a bunch of different custom shift knobs for the guys on EcoModder.

Here is one with 3 different buttons on it that went into a 1st gen Honda Insight hybrid.

I'm currently working with another Insight owner to add a 4 way switch (ie joystick) to the same style knob.

That looks good sometimes it is hard to get a good finish on the top of those.

Thanks.

A good and bad thing about this printer is you can't do much to tweak any settings. It has an ABS setting and a PLA setting, and that is it. You can't tweak nozzle temps, or bed temps. This makes getting started super easy, but trying out new things (and materials) quite difficult.

Make anything new and interesting lately?

My latest is pretty boring, but functional and useful. Shifter shaft bushings to take up the slack of my old worn out ones.

No I have not been printing that much lately.
Just printing the same old stuff.

We have sold some more parts to help pay for the new aquaponics project.
I have a new work contract that has been keeping me very busy.

My sweet wife bought this for my birthday DJI Phantom 3 Advanced Bundle.
My bundle came with all the stuff pictured but one battery for now.
Phantom 3 Drone - Smart Drones | DJI

"fully integrated
camera that shoots 2.7k video at up to 30 frames per second
and captures 12 megapixel photos"

Time to print some stuff for it. I will have it next week.
Frist print.

This supports the camera when not in use.

I will print this next.

DJI Phantom 3 / Inspire 1 Range Booster by giufini - Thingiverse

There is a handful of other stuff I will print for it.

That certainly looks fun.

My printer currently has a bad wire connection in it. The heated bed gives an error after some undetermined amount of time. I have to take it apart and replace it with a new wire I think.

I have had to fix my bed heater wiring a couple times now. With all the movement it really takes a beaten.

I have also printed a crazy amount of ABS so far. I am on my third 6.6 pound spool.
I printed 10 2.2 pounds spools.
