Thanks for the research and responses. The tote location will be underneath a pier and beam crawlspace, back edge of structure sloping down hill, so no immediate threat. My biggest loss would be the that much rain water. 140f X 330 Gallons should be plenty for dhw. I'm toying with low temp hydronics during our winter, not too cold here, and I do have a back up heater. If I can produce 140-150f x 330 gallons during the winter I'll be ecstatic, and if I can do more I'll expand my storage.
Like so many things on this board it looks like someone has to try it and see if it works! |
