Default hello

I'm looking for a way to heat my garage/workshop, and came across your website so I though I would drop in.

Welcome to the site steeltoe.

There are many great ways to heat a garage depending on what you have available to you as a heat source. Do you use your garage as a work shop or something, or do you just want to keep it warmer in there?

I use it for everything except storing my cars, (the intended use). I have a lot of woodworking tools, which I use mainly for home repair.

I would highly recommend using solar hot air panels. They're inexpensive to make, operate automatically and require no fuel. They're what I want to use when I eventually insulate my garage (used for working on cars, rarely storing as well haha). If you need a more on demand type heat I'd recommend a wood stove since you do wood working and could burn scraps as well as brush from the yard (or if you've got woods around the house that is all fuel).
