Default Midwest Reneable Energy Fair.

So this June is the 20th year of the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair June 19-21, 2009
I'll be there with my green electric car again, along with over 20,000 other people, this being one of the largest and for sure the longest running event of this type.

Aw cool.

...hey, you want to pick me up on your way there?

I wish we had that here. I'd love to go to one of those.

I'll be headed up there as well. I'll actually have to meet you this time around Ryland.

It's well worth going, most years there are people from nearly every US state and a hand full of other countries, and the people who are giving workshops and talks tend to be some of the best in the industry.

Daox, I should be pretty easy to find, Ben also knows who I am so just ask him to point me out if you are confused.

I'm helping with set up right now, looks like it will be amazing, a green building area with demonstrations, an alternative vehicles area, 3 more work shops per hour for a total of 18! this is on top of everything else that is going on over the 3 days.
There is also beer, provided by the brewery that is 4 miles down the road, complete with solar hot water heating.

Hmmm, I might not be there after all. I have a family get together planned for the weekend. Blah.

I'll be there! I wasn't sure until last Friday, and when I went to volunteer, it was too late! I guess I will pay for the weekend, and volunteer earlier next year. I will have to seek out the green electric car.
