Default Hello from Macedonia!

My country is between Greece on south and Serbia on north. It is good to see one excellent eco site and glad to be part of same . I hope I can contribute, as well as get info. Eco savings on first place!

Welcome to ER, Miki

Do you have any eco projects you are working on?

BTW I've always wondered what the winters are like in Macedonia?

Thank you,

I build my house couple years before, bricks and concrete like is usual in Macedonia. There are many projects, from insulation , solar heater , HRV , maybe saving the water etc. I am working out of my country and will be back at the end of the year - like you know all projects need money for realization. Real winter in Macedonia is from Dec-Feb , lowest temp. can be -25C (-13F) but very low temperatures are about 2 or 3 weeks in the year. Rest of time is about 0C (32F).
Best Regards

Similar to Poland. I was expecting it to be mild, since Macedonia is farther south. I bet the summers are hot. Do you need air conditioning, or can you get by without it?

Yes , similar to Poland, but probably with higher temperatures . In summer I use my AC only for a few days where temp. is about 40C (104F) or higher. But extreme temps in winter or summer are for couple of weeks.
Best Regards
