Default Your thoughts on "magic glue" for refrigeration pipes?

Recently I came across this product:
https://www.amazon.com/Highside-HS32.../dp/B01LZT77G7

It's not cheap but claims to join copper refrigerant pipes up to 1200 PSI without brazing. Also seems to have a bunch of good reviews online. This would make things much easier for DIY projects. It even claims to join copper and aluminum, which is a brazing nightmare.

Part of me says "poppycock!" You can't glue high pressure copper pipes! Then again it is 2023, and chemistry is amazing - we live in the future now!

Anybody know if this actually works? Anybody try it?

Interesting stuff. Never tried it, but as you said chemistry is pretty amazing. My guess is it'll work well, but for how long is the question. Thermal cycling can do a number on many materials.

Wow, not that soldering is hard to do but, that sounds amazing! Let us know if you try it?

I guess I'll have to give it a try. I suppose I can get a refund if it doesn't work at all...

I'll let you know how it turns out.
