How well were they packaged? Do all three look brand new?

I had a problem with my panel shipment back in May. The UPS guys walked on one of the boxes.
Just lucky the glass didn't break!

Maybe you are luckier than you know, doing your own pickup..

Default That's not good news..

That's got to be up around 95 pounds!! My back is already killing me!
I tired to lift too much array..

Didn't you pick yours up? I would think UPS has a weight limit.?.

Default Why buy PV?

Mine should be here today. I'll load up my camera with digital film.

I've seen these same panels around web for about twice the price.
But, I've still been nervous about spending the money.

I think maybe I've been looking at solar panels in the wrong light..

Why not look at PV like it's a CD?? What are CD rates these days?
If your panels hold their value and earn a little 'interest' on sunny days,
why can't they be considered an investment? (not Lost money).

Instead of sitting on $640 cash and watching it become more worthless every day,
I can sit and watch my new panels sunbathing..

If they get cheaper in 2014, I'll have buyers remorse for few days and then
buy some of the new cheaper panels!

A solar panel is an amazing tool. There is almost nothing like it.

Cheers,
Rich

I looked it up..

* Packages can be up to 150 lbs (70 kg).
* Packages can be up to 165 inches (419 cm) in length and girth combined.
* Packages can be up to 108 inches (270 cm) in length.
* Packages with a large size-to-weight ratio require special pricing and dimensional weight calculations.

96" (8') + 69" (5.75') = 165" their limit? That just seems massive!
Bigger than my old Novan hot water panels..
I gotta be doing the math wrong!!

UPS Ground
Estimated delivery: November 18 - November 24
"Shipped on Nov-18-10"

My sore back is just starting to feel better.. And now I'm expecting 100 pounds to show up on my doorstep? Ouch!!
For some reason, the giant package didn't show today..

Today is the 22th. So, it's gotta be here tomorrow! It's only a 4 hour drive..

The good news, tomorrow is going to be warmer! And Wednesday is going to be "Partly Sunny"!!

Maybe I can get a little testing done!
