Building turbines
This is a local to me company. There is a building near me with their turbines on it. Its an interesting concept but I'm not sure how much power they put out.

Wind turbines never go on a building. The harmonics can literately shake the bricks out of the wall. They can also cause eerie sounds at all times of the day and night. All the wind experts strongly advise against it. So save the roof for solar panels.
The sail wing turbine you have here will rotate as fast as the wind can blow. The ones with traditional blades can rotate 7 to 10 times faster than the wind. They call that setting the Tip Speed Ratio (TSR). That means more power overalll unless you want to pump water. |
