I think Bloom energy has about ten years to go.

And is likely to stay that way.

Agreed. I remember seeing that several years ago when it aired. Problem is the numbers just don't work out in the end.The cubes in the video don't put out enough power for a house like was lead on and the price is more like triple what was said.
I can see small portable ones being handy for remote sites that don't need starting amperage.

But it is kinda cool. He's not the only one doing it I guess either. Still, if it requires gas, how can it really be called alternate or green energy?

I didn't really understand the name of the video either.

Well maybe you could run it off of wood gas.

I don't understand 90% of the videos or names on youtube....

Its some kind of a energy exchanger , it will turn natural gas into electricity for a 2 to 1 gain in output.

A heat pump /mini split is 2.5 or 3x more efficient then the bloom , sure the bloom makes 120v.. but so do solar panels.
