Default Water heater?

Trying to decide on a water heater for the new house. So far my top two contenders are the Whirlpool 6th Sense and the Rheems EcoSense. While the Rheems looks like it comes out ahead with a 0.82 energy factor compared to the Whirlpool's 0.70, the price difference ($1730 for Rheems, $850 for Whirlpool) and the twelve year warranty on the Whirlpool versus the six year warranty on the Rheems make me wonder.

What's the most efficient natural gas, 50-ish gallon storage tank water heater under $2000? I know if nothing else I want an electric or piezo ignition so I don't have the standing pilot flame all year round.
