What sort of biomass do you have on tap? There are preexisting solutions involving wood, and some of them are flexible enough to allow you to burn corn husks, stale bread, and dung.

I guess wood would be what I would like to use as it would be available free. Useable indoors.

Heating DHW with space htg stove?
Anyone using a space heating stove to heat their DHW as well are there problems with overheating water system if space heat is needed and water is not being used? I know pressure relief is in system put extra heat in water needed to be shunted if not used? I don't expect the demands to be overly unequal most of the time but wont to be safe if it's needed.
