Judge Flir has made a ruling.
This is what a thermography of a 40 watt incandescent versus a 7 watt or "60 watt replacement" LED looks like after being left on for several hours.

Love the picture. I knew a guy that called them heaters that give off light.
Your picture shows that is true for incandescent bulbs.
