Default Using a Liquid-Line-Filter-Drier

I've seen these filters around,
Liquid Line Filter Drier 1/4" SAE Male Flare EK052 | eBay

One of these 1/4" flare filters could be easily installed in my Sanyo R410A test line-set loop.

The idea of cleaning up the acids and water that might be inside the repaired Sanyo,
using one of these filters seems like it was be easy..

I wonder if it would be a one-time-use thing, or could using the vacuum pump to dry it out (@50 microns),
so it could be reused for water collection a few more times??

Comments please

Thanks,
Rich
