CFL with Ions??
My wife said that TV's Doctor Oz (sounds made up to me) said that some
CFLs have Ion generators that make your house more healthy..?. I saw this.. Anyone here ever look into this type of product? ~~~ Just for kicks, I turned on the Ion mode on our Sanyos.. Maybe it's good for cooking odors at least..?. "Ion Generator Air Purifying System".. Is that for real?

Negative ion generators do indeed have some kind of cleansing effect on air. I used to use them as a kid to keep the odor of growing...... plants, down and it made a big difference. They made a God awful racket though.
