Default TIMEX Electronic 7-Day timer 11 USD Ebay

Timex Electronic 7 Day Timer for Use Inside or Outside The House | eBay

" It can accept 20 on/off cycles" per day..

I have one of these, and it works pretty well so far.
It's a full power, three prong 120vac 15A device with battery back-up (built in).

I just ordered one more..

MWS:
I've destroyed a cheap mechanical (motor-driven) timer using it on my MSW inverter.
It stopped working after about a week. I assume the motor only likes sine-wave AC..

But, this timer doesn't seem to mind my square-wave MSW inverter power and has been working just fine.
There is a warm spot on the bottom of the case while the load is running. It's at about 72F..
When the load off, the timer load seems to be zero (per my new killerWat meter).
But, I know that's not true, since it's got a little battery charger built-in.
So, it must be using a little power during load-off times..
Or maybe it's smart and turns off the charger when the battery SOC is good.?.

Edit:
I re-checked the idle power use (vampire load) with the other new meter and it said 0.9W !!
After resetting the other meter, is now working again. It was stuck on 0.0, but now it's also reading 0.9W..

21.6 watt hours per day.. x30 days =648 per month 0.638 kWhs is about 10.6 cents a month.?.
$1.27 per year, unless it's on the MSW inverter (fed by solar panels)...
