Default Solar Power Bar

I was browsing today and found this gizmo. Its a solar charger of sorts. You put three rechargeable AAAs in it, and let it sit in the sun. Once the AAAs are charged, you can use it to charge up your cell phone or what have you. The price is right as its a closeout. There is one of these on amazon going for $25, so $5 is a steal.

I wonder how much juice cell phone chargers eat just sitting plugged in. I know there are a handful plugged in constantly in my house. They're all probably eating at least 1W constantly.

The whole site has some pretty cool things in it. Take a moment to poke around.

Edit: I was just looking around and WOW they have some nice batteries. 2.6 Ah AA, and 10Ah D cells! Not cheap of course, but wow. I didn't know you could get batteries with that much capacity.
