The bags are full of compressed cellulose. You want it fluffed up when its blown in to increase R value.

Default DIY attic insulation blower?

good stuff but most of the big box stores will let you use their blower for free if you buy enough bags

D'jever tink maybe I can procure a better product, cheaper
than at the big box stores ? and they don't have any machines

Ever think to READ my post showing a "wall spray application" ?
Maybe , just maybe the big box store machine can't/won't
do that, nor would they let you modify their machine.
