Okay, the high today is going to be 13F, and today is Friday the 13th!
Woburn Hourly Weather - AccuWeather Forecast for MA 01801

It's about 5.7F (-14.61 C)here right now. But the sun is out, so who knows.
I'm betting it will get above 13 today and I can turn the Sanyos back on.

I pity all the new voters that are pouring in from South America..
They aren't going to like living up there in the frozen northlands..
Maybe I can sell my house to them? (And head for Rio Hondo, TX)..

I'll bet you get a LOT of lake effect snow there!
We've been getting lake effect snow from the water off the Maine coast.

Very weird weather here, when compared to the average weather
we had here 15 or 20 years ago..

Seems weird to me anyways.. But that could be me, always looking
for any excuse to move to a warmer climate..

The Sanyo's are going to be getting a good rest today..
They are sucking down 50 watts each right now.
I guess the heating elements for the crankcase oil needs more power on days like today.?
Normally the max on each unit is 40W, with coasting down to 20W..

I better go hit the breakers, since they don't need to keep warm,
if I'm not using them today..

Since you have arthritis

Start looking at rentals in Rio Hondo this morning
Put your house on the Market later in the Day

Price it attractively with about 5 grand of wiggle room instead of 20 grand.

When your in Rio Hondo you can find out what areas are desirable and which ones are not.

Do not follow the real estate agents advice for that last one , talk with locals.

The number of sex offenders is awfully high in that area..
Maybe I should leave my wife up here..

Maybe look for a City that has a better reputation , and is not over ridden with sex offenders or meth heads.

One that is more of a retirement destination and less of a paroled rapists destination , good thing you checked. although I bet houses are CHEAP , just don't have the gran kids over lol or let your wife outside.

You would probably be safe though lol

I did.. That whole area is infested with sex offenders!
At least here, we outnumber them 9,737 to 1.

There are many more choices then your snowbank of a city and that city you pointed out.

You have thousands of other cities to consider that are better to retire in then the one your in now.

No wonder your arthritis is bothering you , your in a freezer half the year.

Hard to enjoy your retirement when you hate the weather in your city even harder when it makes you ill.

Actually all the lake effect snow happens on the NY side of the lake. We hardly get any. I'm from N.S. so I'm used to snow the way you are.

My Fujitsu at the shop is running full out with a big pile of ice under it. Still putting out heat, just not enough of it.
