Want to Learn More About GeoThermal

I've been wanting to learn the basics about geothermal technologies for residences and small commercial properties for some time. Think it's potentially a really nice tech but know next to nothing about it in the practical world. Does anyone have some good links they might be able to post and share... I'm one of those people who's pretty dense at first and needs it to be spelled out really simply and then "gets it" very quickly afterwards...
