I don't miss my electric mower. Well, I do and I don't.

Being able to pull the lever and it be running, that was great. The cord was never a big hassle. But when I found a very nice Honda mower for sale at a thrift store for cheap, I took a risk on it. Previous owner said he couldn't start it. Well, an hour's worth of basic service fixed that. And now I have self propulsion AND no cord, and I'll tell you...it's nice.

I'm willing to put up with the cord. But NOT having to put up with the cord is really good.

A single 100' cord gets my yard done from one plug. And I'm right there with you: a yard is gigantic waste of time and energy. Couldn't I grow corn on this instead? Eat the yard instead of mow it?
