Default 13 SEER: Energy Star Approved Mini-Split 24,000

24,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner by Shinco

Don't see to many of these two ton units with that little blue label..

The specs look good for the price. (I paid about $1,000 more)..

Has anyone checked out Shinco?

13 SEER is the minimum required efficiency now, although the idea of cooling only what you really need to can make for a very significant savings.

It should be possible to build a good hybrid evaporative A/C for much less than that.
