Default super deheater question

will a gshp with a super deheater warm my domestic hot water wile in "heat" as it can in "cool"?

The output of the compressor (always hot) is where the hotwater HX should be located.
In the summer, it should work with the ground loop taking heat out of the system (and your house).

But, during the winter, it seems like it's going to be stealing some of the BTUhs that could be going into heating the house.
But, after the water is all warmed up, warming the house should be normal..

i moved in to a house that has a 20year old system that seems to work great but i dont have any info as to its abilities.

If the ground loop is buried deep down where it's not effected much by the seasons,
you should have plenty of domestic hot water, summer or winter.

In the winter, your system is going to be removing heat from your back yard,
and pumping that heat into the hot water storage tank and into your rooms..
