Anyone see one of these elec. mowers?

Back in 1978, a neighbor of mine had an electric mower. I think it may have been a Murray, but not sure.
It just had a black GE (?) electric motor on it, with the shaft verticle. Just the motor, no shroud, etc. The blade bolted to the shaft.
When the mower was running, on the driveway. 20' away, you couldn't hear it. When cutting grass, all you heard was the grass being cut.
When I first saw him cutting his lawn, I thought he was pushing the mower, with it turned off!
At the time I had an electric B&D mower, that was very loud.
