Default Check out this plot.. It's still going on!!

From: Weather for the Last Year: , ?>

Notice where the average was during Dec 2010,(Starting on the 10th)
and compare that to the first 10 days of Dec 2011 (and many days before)..

It almost looks like our local weather just leveled out back in November.
Since Nov 1, until today, the average temp has been 45.6 °F...
During that same time frame last year, it was 39.2 °F on average..

It's going to be really weird, if this extra 5 °F of warmth stays around here until 2012..

Isn't 2012 when the Maya calendar predicted a colder winter??

Wow, it's cold here again.. The average temp for the last 6 days has been about 35F !
We have been keep real warm, but it's costing us about 800-900 watts on average (per hour).

The ground is still not staying frozen, though. Today and tomorrow is supposed to be around 50F, so the ground thaws out, if it has started to freeze overnight.

Winter solstice is coming up in in just under 7 days. I think December will be warmer than average.

This year: Dec 1 to 15 the average has been 39.2 °F
But, Dec 1 to 15 of 2010 it was 31.5 °F that's a pretty big difference!

I'm forecasting the average will sink down below freezing at some point this year.
But, if it doesn't, I'll be a happy camper..

Snow?

Dec 1 to Dec 15 for Warsaw:
2011: Avg temp 3°C, total HDD 420 (base 65°F)
2010: Avg temp -6°C, total HDD 657 (base 65°F)

I've been wanting to do some diagnostics on my diesel's glow plugs, but it's so warm that the ECU won't turn them on!

Oops! I took the average HDD per day, not the sum (but that still makes the point). I edited my post to note that.
I also just noticed that the HDD are given in (base 65), which means they are in °F.
