![]() I was Christmas shopping with my son today and found some cheap LED Christmas lights. I thought to myself, ooh, cheap accent lighting. I turned the box inside out and poked the lights through some holes I made.
![]() 3 watts for 35 LEDs. Just the right amount of light for the server cave. ![]() |

![]() I tried to take a picture but it didn't work - it all washed out. It's not really working out anyway - I had to move it above my head as a direct view of it flickering was giving me headaches (AC powered). Now that it's out of my direct line of sight, it's ok but still not perfect. However, it was $5, so it was an interesting experiment. I'll have to invest DC powered lights for anything permanent.
