Ha, ya the water heater is in the basement right by the heat pump, having it in the garage wouldn't work too well with the -40 temps we get!

The right one is the empty tank for the geo preheat, those lines are insulated...

Hey, nice thermal image!

I had to ask because not all people do what is obviously advantageous all the time.

If we could all see the world in thermal vision, there'd be a lot less wasted heat.

So, have you used your Flir for imaging your house on a cold night, from outside, and inside views of outside walls?

What do the images look like?

Where are you in Saskatchewan?

Closest city is Saskatoon, were in the country.

Ummm ya... My first thought was "maybe it's just the sun on the siding..." Followed by "it's noon and I'm taking shots of the east and west sides....��"

Plus it was only -9c today so I can't even blame extreme temps...
