Default Charlotte, NC?

Curious to see who on here is around Charlotte.

I'm currently working on a ground-source heat pump project.

Last year I installed a 56kWdc solar array on our building.

I've also done some Raspberry Pi-based automation in the building.

Any other hands-on "experimenters" in the area?

I am outside Greenville SC. Not that far from you.
I did DIY 12.5 KW but that is not even close to the size as yours.

How much power have you made so far?

38305.642 KWH as of 3 seconds ago. We interconnected in June, but didn't get some kinks worked out (loose connection on the utility transformer, for one) that were causing us grief until October-ish.

Right now, we're cranking out about 200kWh a day.

How many watt panels did you use? What kind of inverter are you using?
200 KW is pretty sweet.
Last year my average was 53.54 Kwh

I'm West of Charlotte near Shelby. No solar or anything and I'm still putting off the stuff I need to do to the house... mainly because ugggghhhh... and that I'm 1/3 of the way into a boat project.

That's a huge solar setup you have, would love to see pics. Do you use all of the power generated locally, or are you selling back to the grid?
