Default white concrete colorant

I'm looking for ideas for a white or slightly tan colorant for the last layer of ferrocement. (Ferrocement is a thin mixture of high psi low water cement layered over stucco lath.) I think titaniun dioxide will work well - if I could find it at a reasonable cost. Any ideas on where I can find it or maybe you have another idea that's better. Latex paint can be mixed with the mortar with limited results.

Do we have any mudders on this site?
