Default NY upping its PV ante

Coumo banned fracking and now he's going full tilt on solar! Looks like more PV for me!

This is great news.

My state just passed a law to not allow this.

"Shared Renewables" virtual net metering program. Under the program, New York residents can subscribe to receive the benefits of a PV array up to 2 MW-AC located on a sponsor's property, through net metering. "

But the power companies donate big time and have them in their pockets.

Right, energy suppliers want to keep control. I talked to the president of my coop. These guys are afraid that people will create an independent energy future. I'm showing people my bills and they're asking, "hey, can I do that?"
You bet you can!
Watch, homes of the future will be built energy independent. Technology always wins out.

I saw a place that had a community of net zero homes being built. It warmed my heart.

Big energy can't fight the inevitable future. When something makes sense and is easily done, it will be done.

It's like when my contractor tells me it'll cost $500 to wire up and install a lamp post for my front yard, but I look online and find solar ones that are better and cheaper. Plus they don't go on my electric bill. It's a no-brainer.
